Crims Chapel VFD
Crims Chapel VFD was
established in 1989 as an
effort to increase fire
protection to the citizens
of rural northern Rusk
County. Originally located
at the intersection of CR
254 and SH 322, the
station has since been
moved to a more central
location at 3717 CR 241E.

Crims Chapel VFD is a 13
member, all volunteer fire
department, serving a
rural populated area of
approximately 2500
people with one station.
CCVFD began as strictly
fire suppression, but has
since upgraded services
to include medical first
response and rescue
capabilities, including
vehicle extrication (JAWS).
